3. WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta integration

Lemurian ERP may allow a tenant business to connect its own WhatsApp Business Account through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform. When a tenant authorizes this integration, Lemurian ERP may process information necessary to provide the requested WhatsApp functionality.

This information may include:

  • WhatsApp Business Account identifiers and related business asset identifiers.
  • WhatsApp Business phone number identifiers, display numbers and business profile information.
  • Customer or contact phone numbers used for permitted WhatsApp communications.

  • Authorization information, access tokens or credentials required to operate an integration, subject to appropriate access controls.

Lemurian ERP processes WhatsApp-related information only to provide functionality requested or authorized by the tenant business and to operate, secure and support the integration.

We may use information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain and improve the Lemurian Bazaar website and Lemurian ERP services.

  • Provide communication, campaign and operational reporting.
  • Provide customer service and technical support.
  • Detect, investigate and prevent security incidents, fraud, misuse or unauthorized access.
  • Maintain logs, audit records, backups and operational records as reasonably necessary.
  • Comply with applicable legal, accounting, taxation, contractual or regulatory requirements.

5. Tenant authorization and responsibility

Each tenant business is responsible for the business data and WhatsApp Business Account it connects to Lemurian ERP. When a tenant connects an account, it authorizes Lemurian ERP to access and process the relevant assets and information necessary to provide the requested integration.

Tenants are responsible for ensuring that their use of Lemurian ERP and WhatsApp communications complies with applicable law, contractual requirements, Meta Platform Terms, WhatsApp Business Terms, WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and other applicable requirements.

6. Customer consent, opt-in and opt-out

Tenant businesses are responsible for obtaining any consent or opt-in required before sending WhatsApp or other marketing communications to a customer. Lemurian ERP may provide tools for recording or managing consent status, communication preferences and opt-out information.

Businesses using Lemurian ERP should honor requests from customers who no longer wish to receive marketing communications. Contacts who have opted out should not be included in further marketing campaigns unless a valid basis to resume communications exists.

7. WhatsApp message templates

Business-initiated WhatsApp communications may require templates approved by WhatsApp. Lemurian ERP may allow authorized tenants to create, submit, retrieve, manage and use WhatsApp message templates. Decisions regarding approval, rejection, categorization or other template status are made by Meta/WhatsApp and are outside Lemurian ERP’s direct control.

8. How we share information

We may share information only where reasonably necessary to provide the service, operate an authorized integration, comply with law, protect our systems or fulfil a user’s or tenant’s request. This may include sharing relevant information with:

  • Meta and WhatsApp, when a tenant uses WhatsApp Business Platform functionality.
  • Hosting, infrastructure, database, backup, email, security, analytics, payment, communications or other technology service providers necessary to operate our services.
  • Professional advisers, authorities or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.
  • A tenant business and its authorized users where the information belongs to or is managed by that tenant.

When WhatsApp functionality is used, relevant information is also processed by Meta/WhatsApp according to their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

9. We do not sell WhatsApp or customer data

We do not sell WhatsApp customer information, message data, contact databases or tenant business information to data brokers or unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Information received through Meta APIs is used to provide, maintain, secure and support functionality requested by our customers, subject to applicable Meta policies.

10. Multi-tenant data separation and access controls

Lemurian ERP is designed as a multi-tenant SaaS platform. Tenant business information, customer records, WhatsApp account information, messages, templates and related records are intended to be logically separated from those belonging to other tenants. Access is controlled through authorized users, roles, permissions and system controls.

11. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or loss. Depending on the service, these measures may include authentication, role-based access controls, secure API communication, encrypted transport, logging, auditing, controlled production access, backups and server or database security controls.

No electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their own passwords, devices and account credentials.

12. Access tokens and integration credentials

Where Lemurian ERP receives access tokens, identifiers, credentials or authorization data required to connect with Meta or another third-party service, that information is used only for the authorized integration and related operational or security purposes. Such credentials are not intended to be disclosed publicly or shared with unrelated third parties.

13. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounts and business records, meet contractual obligations, comply with applicable legal, accounting, taxation or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and maintain system security.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed. When information is no longer reasonably required, it may be deleted, anonymized or securely archived as appropriate.

14. Disconnecting WhatsApp or other integrations

A tenant may disconnect an authorized WhatsApp Business or other supported integration. Once disconnected, Lemurian ERP will no longer be able to perform future operations requiring that authorization, subject to any technically necessary processing required to complete outstanding operations or comply with legal obligations.

Disconnecting an integration does not necessarily delete historical business records already stored in the ERP. A separate deletion request may be required where the tenant wishes to request deletion of eligible stored data.

15. Data access, correction and deletion requests

Subject to applicable law and contractual requirements, users, customers and tenant businesses may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with our services.

Requests may be sent to care@lemurianbazaar.com. Please include sufficient information for us to identify the relevant account or data. We may need to verify the identity or authority of the requester before completing a request.

Where legally and technically permitted, verified requests will be processed within a reasonable period. Certain information may need to be retained where necessary for legal, taxation, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution or regulatory purposes.

16. Revoking Meta or WhatsApp authorization

A tenant may revoke Lemurian ERP’s authorization to access its Meta or WhatsApp Business assets using controls provided by Meta or through applicable Lemurian ERP integration settings. Following revocation, Lemurian ERP will no longer be able to perform operations requiring that authorization.

17. Website comments

When visitors leave comments on the website, we may collect the information shown in the comments form together with the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent information for spam detection and site security. An anonymized string derived from an email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether a profile image is associated with that email address.

18. Media uploads

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images that contain embedded location information such as EXIF GPS data unless you intend to share that information. Visitors may be able to download images and extract embedded metadata.

19. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for functions such as login sessions, account preferences, security, shopping or checkout functionality, remembering user choices and improving the website experience.

If you leave a comment, you may be offered the option to save your name, email address and website in cookies for convenience. Login and session cookies may also be used when you access an account. The duration of cookies varies depending on their purpose and your browser or account settings.

20. Embedded content and third-party websites

Pages on our website may contain embedded videos, images, maps, payment services, social media content or other content from third-party websites. Those third parties may collect information, use cookies or track interactions according to their own privacy practices. We do not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

21. Account and password-related information

If you register for an account, we may store information provided in your account profile. Authorized administrators may be able to view or update certain account information as necessary to administer the service. If you request a password reset, technical information such as your IP address may be included or processed as part of security and account-recovery procedures.

22. Children’s privacy

Lemurian ERP is intended for businesses and authorized business users and is not designed as a service directed to children. If you believe personal information relating to a child has been provided to us inappropriately, contact us so that we can review the matter.

23. International processing

Depending on the technologies, infrastructure and third-party services used, information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions different from the user’s location. Where applicable, we use reasonable measures intended to protect information in accordance with relevant contractual and legal requirements.

24. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, Lemurian ERP functionality, Meta or WhatsApp integrations, technology, legal requirements or data-processing practices. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
